The five-year-old Iron Lady, by Var (USA), was back to her best when holding off challenges from Arrowfield and Say So Tiger in the 1600m MR 69 Handicap at Borrowdale Park on July 12.

Trained by Kirk Swanson and ridden by Francois Herholdt, this mare has now won four races. She was bred by Gary Player Stud (Pty) Ltd and is owned by Messrs S.H.Orie, M. Greene and B.C. Ralph.
