It was a repeat of the 1800mSilver Slipper (L) when the Thomas Mason trained New Galaxy, with Kaidan Brewer up, won the 2000m Zimbabwe Oaks (L) at Borrowdale Park on Saturday – with stable companion Trust Me (Nyamagwete) close behind.

The daughter of New Predator (AUS) now wears Zimbabwe’s Triple Tiara and her happy owners are Mesdames A G Mason, Edith Tapfuma, R A Dorward, S P Moyo & Mr G Tafeni, Messrs D T Machingaidze& Dr R Mhizha. The three-year-old filly was bred by Tawny Syndicate.

It was an exciting finish with Trust Me half a length off at the line and Dark Future (Greyling) 1.25 lengths behind the winner. Jumped A Red (Klink) came fourth.
