Parham/Mallett Were Powerful

In addition to winning the 2025 Fillies Classic at the last Borrowdale Park meeting, the Parham yard also shone in two other races on the six-race card.

The Brumby Syndicate were also riding high, while Philasande Mxoli won three races during the afternoon, as well as coming second on She’s Everything in the Fillies Classic.

The Honour Roll follows:

The Fillies Classic, first leg of Zimbabwe’s Triple Tiara, was won by a newcomer to Borrowdale, the One World filly September Flower, bred by Boland Stud. Malesela Katjedi was riding the winner owned by the Brumby Syndicate (nominee Grant Littleford). She’s Everything (Mxoli), only half a length behind, is also owned by the Brumbies.

Prince Of Denmark (Mxoli) won the 1600m MR 65 Handicap. This Duke Of Marmalade gelding is owned by Messrs M B Mallett, K Smith, P D Parham & Mrs A Parham, and this was his third win.  Prince Of Denmark was bred by Riethuiskraal Stud.

The third Parham winner on the 25th of May was The Octagon (Mxoli) who took the 1260m MR76 Handicap for Mrs S Loubser. The four-year-old Ideal World (USA) gelding, bred by Klawervlei Stud, has now won three races.

Congratulations to all the winning connections,
