Trainer Debra Swanson was in great form on Friday, winning five of the six races on the card, including the feature event, the 1600m Bright Future At Borrowdale Park Pinnacle Plate.

River Power, owned by the Centaur Syndicate (Nominee: Craig Danckwerts), is a 4-year-old Global View (USA) colt bred by Riethuiskraal Stud. Jeffery Syster was riding River Power who has now won 9 of his 10 starts. Castle Tankard winner Action Zone (Thackery) finished a close second.
