The 1260m Sable Flyers (LR) was won by the three-year-old Uncle Mo (USA) filly, Ziwewere, at Borrowdale Park on Friday the 21st November 2025. Then came Queen Of Fire (Mxoli), Jet Green (Penny) and My Secret Place (Nhlapo).

Owned by Ms TB Hlupo and bred by Geoff Armitage, Ziwewere was ridden by Jeffery Syster. The filly has only had three starts – and has won all of them.

Leading trainer Debra Swanson saddled two more winners at Borrowdale on Friday afternoon, as well as Ziwewere, winning with Copper Fire (Syster) for the Centaur Syndicate, and OutOfTheDarkness (Syster) for Messrs C J Danckwerts and F D J Danckwerts.
