Romantic Balladeer, who finished behind Princeton Tiger at the September 20 race meeting, managed to turn the tables on Sunday when the pair met again in the 1200m MR 55 Handicap.
The Trippi (USA) gelding is trained by Seb d’Aquino and Marco van Rensburg was in the irons.

The six-year-old has now won five races. He was bred by Summerveld Stud and is owned by the Equisynd Syndicate. Jean’s Dancer and Yesterday Man also made it into the frame.
