Comanche Brave, enjoying his first start at Borrowdale Park on Sunday, won the 1200m Maiden Plate in fine style, finishing four lengths clear of Nemba Beach.
The three-year-old Kahal (GB) gelding, ex Alec Laird, had two previous starts in Gauteng. He is owned by Duncan Jones, Adrian Nydam and Steve Shutt.
Chase Maujean rode Comanche Brave for Amy Bronkhorst. The gelding was bred by Summerhill Stud.
