OK Grand Challenge entrant, Lava Flow, showed he can put it in when he wants to when coming with a flying finish to win the 1600m Graduation Plate on Sunday, snatching victory from Super Good on the line.

The four-year-old Western Winter (USA) gelding is owned by Gengiz Goksel, trained by Penny Fisher, and was ridden by JP van der Merwe. He was bred by Lammarskraal Stud.
