Amy Bronkhorst saddled the first two past the post in the 1000m Champion Juvenile Stakes (Gr3) at Borrowdale Park on Sunday.
Marco van Rensburg was aboard the winner, Wylde Style, and Apprentice Callan Murray on Jinx Johnson. Both fillies are owned
and bred by Peter Moor.
Wylde Style, by West Man (USA), has now won three of her four starts and once again she showed the field a clean pair of heels – winning margin 3.50 lengths. Determination and Lady Carina filled the other places.
Earlier in the afternoon Amy and van Rensburg scored with Sylvianna , winner of the 2000m Maiden Plate.
Training and riding honours for the day were shared with Gokhan Terzi and Andrew Fortune, who paid two visits to the Number One Box, with Invincible Swan and Princeton Tiger.
The photograph shows Wilde Style winning the 1000m TBA Sales Stakes on May 7, with Chase Maujean in the irons. Our faithful photographic friends didn’t come to the party this time so I have no pics from Sunday’s meeting.
