The five-year-old Rebel King mare, Carla The Rebel, won the 1800m ZRP Fillies Charity Stakes at Borrowdale Park on Sunday – winning margin 1.25 lengths, starting price 9/2.
Her stable mates, Scarlett Ice and Ladies First, ran second and fourth, while Print The Pounds had to settle for third place.
Carla The Rebel is trained by Gokhan Terzi and owned by Dave Rosser and Gengiz Goksel. She was bred by The Alchemy and has now won four races. Chase Maujean had the winning ride.
During the afternoon Terzi saddled four winners and Maujean scored three times. Certainly a day to remember.
