The locally-bred filly, Solinski, winner of the 1800m TBA Silver Slipper, added the Bloodstock South Africa 2000 to her feature trophies at Borrowdale Park on Sunday.
Trained by Kirk Swanson and ridden by Callan Murray, Solinksi is owned by the Dixie Chicks Syndicate (nom. Miss V.E.Bruce), Duncan and Jackie Cocksedge, Dubbles Draper, Ursula Malan, and C. John Smith.
By Fencing Master (GB) and out of a Soblieski (USA) mare, Solinski was bred at Sarahdane Stud.
The Swanson yard also saddled Flasher On The Run and Haga Haga who finished second and third. Winning margins 2.50 and 2.75 lengths. Megagram ran fourth.
