The Penny Fisher trained Barbarian made light work of the 1800m MR 75 Handicap at Borrowdale on Sunday, finishing three lengths clear of Quick Glance, followed by Cool Solution and stable companion Noble Peer.
Hennie Greyling rode the winner who is a son of Silvano (GER) out of an Al Mufti (USA) mare, and bred by Al Adiyaat (Sheik Mohammed Bin Khalifa Maktoum). The four-year-old gelding has now won three races and been six times from 12 starts. He is owned by Tim Wilkes.
