Zita completed a double when winning the 1100m MR 74 Handicap at Borrowdale Park, holding off Elegant Beauty, Tamarind and Jameson Run. Ryan Munger was in the irons.
This was the first of the Fisher yard’s three wins on Sunday.
By Soar With Eagles (USA), Zita was bred in Zimbabwe by the Spotted Pig Stud. He is owned by Bruce McLauchlan, Matt Charlton, Kevin Fallon and Ken, Alistair, Alex, Natalie and Penny Fisher.
