Edward The Seventh, going for a hat-trick, won the 1600m Tote Free Handicap at Borrowdale Park on Saturday by a comfortable 2.50 lengths.
Sherman Brown, riding for Kirk Swanson, had the son of Seventh Rock (AUS) well placed throughout and the race was over once the three-year-old gelding changed gear. Edward The Seventh was carrying 55 kgs and he was followed by Knuckleball (54 kgs), Butchie Boy (58 kgs) and Flanders (60 kgs).
Congratulations Christopher and Noelene Peech of Rumbavu Stud, Harare. Home-bred runners are doing you proud this year.
