PENNY FROM HEAVEN and YARRAMAN made punters very anxious in the closing stages of the first leg of the Pick 6, the 1700m Allowance Plate. Penny From Heaven (nearest camera) got the verdict by 0.05 lengths on the line. Butchie Boy and Bush Pilot also finished in the money.

PEAPACK and SUPA MEMORIES (nearest camera) fought out the finish of the 1600m MR 48 Handicap and it ended in a dead heat. Wee Doch’n Dorris (0.50 lengths behind) came third, and Shakespeare In Love was only a length off the winners.
