Amsterdam, winner of the 2000m Breeders Champions Cup on March 24, scored again in the 1600m Independence Trophy at Borrowdale Park this afternoon.

Knuckleball, Roman Discent and Fareeq also finished in the money.

Trained by Kirk Swanson and bred by Highlands Farms Stud, Amsterdam is owned by Mr R Kieswetter and Raymond Danielson was in the irons.

During the afternoon the Swanson yard and Penny Fisher Racing saddled three winners each.
