I read with much interest the article under “”The Centaurian Takes Aim””, and congratulate Borrowdale racing for the efforts to keep racing afloat ther despite the multitude of challenges.
By the same token, reports by trainers and Stipendary stewards must be transparent. I was reading the stipes report on the meeting of 21/4/2023 and noticed an anomaly.
Tradition, ran in race 5 on 21/4/2023 and according to prerace information , was reported to be equipped with blinkers and alumites. Yet the stipes post race report indicated that the only equipment change on Tradition was it was fitted with blinkers. Please clarify the truth here. Transparency is of paramount importance to maintain the integrity of this sport.
