Zafar, a four-year-old gelding by Captain Of All, won the 1100m Hachiman Sprint at Borrowdale Park on Friday, 30 January 2026, with style.

Trained by Thomas Lundbye Mason and competently handled by Mathew Thackeray, the winner was bred by Rathmore Stud, and has now won 4 races. Zafar is owned by Edith Maziofa-Tapfuma and Anna Mason.
