In March I said I was stepping offline for a while…but…I cannot totally ignore the 66th running of the 2000m Castle Tankard (Gr1) at Borrowdale Park on Saturday the 9th May 2026.

The field includes two previous Tankard winners – Action Zone (2025) and Ideal View (2023). The Final Field has been published on this site and, who knows, I might weaken and publish more info before Saturday. In any event, I wish all the runners a safe journey – and no problems at the start!
