DUO IN FINE FORM

The Stidolph/Chambers combination was on top form at Borrowdale Park on Sunday. The duo scored with 20-1 shot Al Salaam in the fifth and the fancied Super Good in the seventh- both horses owned by the Sunmark Racing Three.

Al Salaam, a three year-old gelding, clocked his second win in the 1700m MR 50 Handicap, beating Avaricious by a length. He was bred by Shadwell Stud.

Super Good, by Announce out of a Dynasty mare, and bred by Mr D.G.M. Southey, finished 1.75 lengths ahead of Comanche Brave who has done well in his three Harare starts.

Bridget Stidolph also saddled Catnip, winner of the fourth race, a 1600m Maiden Plate. Owned by Newbury Racing and with Brendon Mc Naughtonin the irons, the three-year-old son of Mogok (USA) out of a National Assembly mare, was running for the first time at Borrowdale.
